East Baton Rouge Parish Main Library

I visited the East Baton Rouge Parish Main Library at 7711 Goodwood today.  Construction is not quite complete, the landscaping still needs to be done, and there is plenty of cleaning up to do.  Most visitors are parking at the adjacent BREC Botanic Gardens and walking to the library for now.  The old building will eventually be demolished and that space used for a parking lot.  Despite all the work remaining to be done, the new library is an impressive building to see.
