New Orleans architects Eskew+Dumez+Ripple designed the 40,000 square foot expansion to the Louisiana SPCA campus in Algiers. We photographed this project to highlight not only the design of the interior and exterior spaces, but also the way in which both visitors and employees are able to interact with animals while at the facility.  More pictures from this project are available in the Recent Projects > Louisiana SPCA gallery.

Living on the Gulf Coast makes it easy to visit the beach, and the stretch of Florida beaches between Navarre and Destin are my favorite in the area. These views are sunrise, sunset, and a lightning storm at Fort Walton Beach.

Downtown Greenway is a pedestrian and bicycle corridor that links inner city residential neighborhoods, parks, businesses, and cultural attractions to Downtown Baton Rouge. I photographed this project for the Downtown Development District to show how the area is being redesigned with pedestrian and bicycle friendly access and pathways, along with new lighting and tree plantings. This portion of the Downtown Greenway was the first Complete Street project in Baton Rouge and focuses on the Florida Street Access Point to the Mississippi River along with the new lighting and tree plantings that stretch from the access point to the LASM.

Chapel inside of the New Orleans East Hospital designed by Eskew+Dumez+Ripple in a joint effort with Manning Architects. The hospital was rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina. This series of photographs was taken to highlight the woodwork in the new chapel.
